DAUGHTER SHOWS APPRECIATION

Sharon Brew-Butler and her husband Gerard helped raise over £800 for the West Suffolk, Thetford and Sudbury Cancer Support Group. Sharon and Gerard Cycled and Ran 36 miles they wanted to raise the money to highlight the importance of the group and to thank them for the support they have given to her mum who suffeered from breast cancer. Sharon had cervical cancer 10 years ago so knows the level of support needed by many people in this situation.

Sue Summers has fought off two primary cancers and has raised well over £400 for Cancer Support in Suffolk and the group she belongs to West Suffolk, Thetford and Sudbury Cancer Support Group.

Susan had both bowel and breast cancer and suffered three operations losing a breast and seven eighths of her large bowel. Sue abseiled down the Ipswich Hospital Maternity Block and took up the ladies driving challenge driving six different categories of vehicle Susan admits she enjoyed the driving challenge and cannot wait to try again. I think she enjoyed the firemen "oops" the fire engine the most

Sue is scared of heights and the abseil pushed her resolve to the limit. She was so scared that it took an age for her feet to obey the command "walk" as she started to walk down the wall. Our informants say that they have it on good authority, contrary to rumour that Susan did not need a change of underclothes after the event.
